The Mysterious East, April 1970/Apr. '70

By: Cameron, Campbell, Hunt, Rousseau (contributing editors)

Price: $20.00

Quantity: 1 available

Published in Maritime Canada, The Mysterious East was a bit of a counterculture/underground magazine with articles and commentaries on politics, drug laws, the arts, the environment and civil rights. This issue complete with the 46-page illustrated birth control insert. Stapled wraps, 30 pages, illustrated. Moderate edgewear, crease to bottom left corner of back cover, short tears to bottom edge of back cover. There should be two staples holding this paper together, but since there are no staple holes at the top of the spine or in the centre of the magazine, there seems to have never been one there (the bottom staple holds firm). Insert is VG-F, double-stapled and intact. Uncommon.
