Holloway's first book, and true first edition. A distinguished sixty-five-year-old man of considerable means decides to marry one of his seven mistresses (all of whom are, at the time he makes this bonehead decision, happily co-existing under the same roof), but faces the problem of deciding which one. Blue cloth w/gilt spine lettering/decoration, 181 pages, dust jacket illustration by Leonora Box. Mild slant, gently bumped bottom spine, a hint of corner wear, in dust jacket with longish edge tears, scratches, chipping, two pieces (the first measuring approximately 1&1/2" long by 3/4" deep, the second measuring approximately 1" long by 1" deep) torn from top edge of front panel, general wear. Dust jacket now in protective mylar sleeve which somewhat enhances its appearance. Difficult to find in true first edition and a dust jacket of any kind.
